Meet Our Founder
Pokharel is the founder and principal lawyer of Pokharel Law. She holds an LLB (Honours) from BPP University in the United Kingdom and an LLM in Business Law from the University of Montreal.
She was called to the Ontario Bar in November 2022 and went on to work with one of Toronto’s largest refugee law firms, gaining firsthand experience in complex immigration and refugee cases.
With a background in Business, Refugee, and Immigration Law, her approach combines legal precision with a strong sense of empathy and advocacy for human dignity.
She has personally handled over 100 refugee cases and communicates fluently in English, Hindi, and Nepali—with basic proficiency in French and German—to serve clients from diverse backgrounds.
